Never been so easy to be above average

It has never been easier to rise above the average person when it comes to your health and fitness. Why, you ask? Well, approximately 23 percent of adults in the United States, aged 18 to 64, do not meet the recommended weekly exercise guidelines. Moreover, less than 5% of adults engage in 30 minutes of physical activity daily.

Despite being the 11th wealthiest country globally, the United States ranks only 35th in overall health. We lag most developed nations, boasting the highest obesity rate among high-income countries, along with the highest rates of diabetes and heart disease.

The recommended exercise regimen for adults is as follows:

A minimum of 150 minutes of moderate or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise each week, in addition to muscle-strengthening activities.

The good news is that meeting this standard is more attainable than you might think. All you need to do is commit to a brisk 50-minute walk three times a week, and you've got your aerobic exercise covered. That's it! By doing so, you've already outperform 77% of the U.S. population.

It's honestly sad, and some might attribute it to wealth, but the data suggests otherwise:

- Only 11.8% of those living below the poverty line can meet the exercise standard.

- Meanwhile, only 34.3% of those earning 600% above the poverty level (approximately $150,000) manage to do so.

Here are the reasons why people don’t exercise enough (all excuses!)

- Lack of enjoyment during exercise.

- Repeatedly giving up on fitness routines.

- Inability to afford a gym membership.

- Frustration due to not seeing immediate body changes.

- Uncertainty about how to exercise properly.

- Childcare responsibilities.

- Excessive stress.

- Overwhelming fatigue and soreness.

- Not enough time.

The good news is that fitness is becoming more popular in the U.S. More people are looking for healthier foods and alternatives. And are looking for services, tools, and solutions to help them look, feel and function better.

Moreover, it's never too late to embark on your fitness journey. Those who meet the recommended exercise requirements tend to be happier, less stressed, and more confident. They enjoy both physical and mental health benefits. If the average American were to achieve these exercise goals each week, it could significantly reduce premature deaths (1 in 10), breast cancer cases (1 in 8), diabetes cases (1 in 12), and heart disease cases (1 in 15) nationwide.

So, it's time to get moving!
