The Ultimate Hack in Life

 I’m going to talk about the 1 thing that has substantially improved my life and ways that you can go about implementing it.

So, when I was younger, I was very insecure. I had zero confidence, and my self-esteem relied drastically on what other people thought of me. 

I would be a people pleaser in short. Everything I would do and wouldn’t do would rely heavily on other people. I wasn’t in control.

That was until a couple years ago. I discovered this hack called The Spotlight Effect.

It’s a psychology phenomenon where people tend to overestimate how much others notice them. For example, when we’re at a party or a club we tend to think that everyone is paying attention to us. When, in reality, no one is.

And it’s not our fault. It’s how us humans are wired. We used to live in small villages where everyone knew each other and your actions were always heavily scrutinized. The human population was much smaller then and now is 8.025 billion.

Despite the massive population growth, we haven’t changed. The only way to conquer this fear of public perception is by doing things that are outside your comfort zone. 

• Speak in public

• Go up to that girl

• Embarrass yourself

• Put yourself out there

• Do something you’re fearful of

We truly don’t start living until we’ve been freed from this fear. I remember, I was terrified when I started to make content.

Turns out people were saying negative things but then they went back and focused on themselves. Meanwhile, my confidence and happiness sky rocketed.

It was 100% worth it, and life will never be the same. I recommend you do the same. Whatever it is you want to do don’t let the potential thought of others stop you!
