The “Golden Rule” of Fitness Right Now.

There’s one rule that you should always follow: Don’t miss twice.

It’s okay to fall off the bandwagon. At the end of the day, we’re all human.

Eat that dessert.

Skip the gym.

Take a day off.

Spend time with your family.

However, don’t make it a habit and make sure you get right back on it the next day.

Consistency is the goal.

It also really depends on the context. If you’ve only worked out once during the week then skipping is not an option. You need to get in at least 3 workouts per week.

That’s the bare minimum. Three workouts making sure you’re hitting every single muscle group.

Can split it up in the following manner.

Monday: Pull Day

Wednesday: Push Day

Friday: Leg Day

Bonus: Full body workout on either Saturday or Sunday

This rule also applies to sleep, finances and work.

It’s okay to take it easy from time to time but stick to the plan. Don’t let up!

In fact, taking rest days is essential for long term success. Your body and mind need rest and recovery.

Remember that it’s a marathon and not a sprint. Keep this in mind but take the golden rule to heart!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
