The Reason Why People Are Unhealthy

Here’s a crazy fact I wanted to share. According to Harvard ~

- 2/3 of U.S. adults are overweight and 1/3 are obese.

- 11.6% of the US population has diabetes.

- 48.1% of US adults have high blood pressure.

So far, the worldwide adult obesity rate has more than doubled since 1990 according to the World Health Organization.

This is alarming.

And the biggest culprit is refined carbohydrates and sugar. 

It is the ultra-processed food and lack of education that is causing these rates to steadily increase.

People, especially in the US of all ages, are basically eating dessert for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

The problem is over 70% of food in grocery stores in the US is ultra-processed.

What that means is that most food being sold is consumable poison.

And the problem is that big food companies have a desire to sell you this junk.

It’s profitable and they make it addicting. How?

They increase the amount of sugar either via adding sucrose or fructose intentionally.

And we’re designed to love sugar.

So, what is happening is that unsuspecting people are buying this without understanding the ingredients or the quantity of sugar.

Also, the US has 51 agencies that govern food in the US. It’s highly fragmented and they lack communication which big food companies love.

In addition, food companies are lobbying decision makers in Washington to support their agenda.

So, that means the government will not save you. No one will save you but yourself. 

First, you need to educate yourself on this matter and then start making the right decisions. 

Eliminate ultra-processed foods from your diet entirely and only really eat whole organic foods. Your health and future depend on it.
