1) Plastic cutting boards

2) Teflon pans

Teflon was originally used on pumps, valves, vessels and as a tank coating. Should have stayed that way.

Teflon falls under a larger category of chemicals called PFAS (per – and polyfluoroalkyl substances). Studies have shown that exposure to PFAS increases certain types of cancer, has contributed to low fertility rates and immune deficiency. 

Instead replace Teflon pans with stainless steel or cast-iron pans. 

3) Aluminum foil

Small amounts of aluminum can get into your food if it comes in contact.

And aluminum is linked to Alzheimer’s, respiratory issues, bone disorders, kidney damage and cancer.

Instead replace aluminum foil with parchment paper which you can easily get off Amazon. 

4) Seed oils

I’m talking sunflower, cottonseed, safflower, canola, sesame and grapeseed oil.

Seed oils contain a high amount of linoleic acid (LA) which is an omega-6 fatty acid that is linked to chronic inflammation, obesity, heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

Swap seed oils with tallow, coconut oil, olive oil or grass feed butter.
