Focus on what you can control

As I’m sure you know, there’s a ton going on in the world. We have tariffs, a potential recession, inflation, geopolitical issues and the potential for de dollarisation.

We’re living in very uncertain times.

There are many reasons to be concerned.

But in the end things will always correct themselves. Only time will tell.

It’s important to keep in mind though that it’s completely outside of your control.

Worrying or stressing about the state of the world in the end only hurts you.

To help with the added stress you should prioritize:

• Meditation

• Exercise

• Reading

• Turning your phone on airplane mode

• Going for a walk

• Doing any fun activity that you enjoy

What’s always helped for me is moving my body. Movement is medicine.

I will always exercise regardless of how I feel.

Even according to Harvard, “exercise reduces levels of the body’s stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol. It also stimulates the production of endorphins, chemicals in the brain that are the body’s natural painkillers and mood elevators.”

Now more than anything, use exercise and other positive activities as your ally to help keep you calm during these uncertain times.

It will help you remain levelheaded and calm when you most need it.

God speed.

Yours truly,

Wendell
