Do This If You Have Bad Posture

7 Things To Help Fix & Prevent Bad Posture

If you feel like you have bad posture, then start doing these seven things.

1. Try not to slouch when sitting down.

2. Try to straighten your back more and keep your chest out.

3. Don’t slump at your desk. Really important to try and sit straight especially

if you sit at a desk for hours at a time.

4. Look at your phone with your head straight forward and not looking down.

Also, try to stretch your neck daily.

5. Wear good shoes that provide solid support and get insoles if you’re flat

footed.

6. Sleep on a hard mattress instead of a soft one.

7. Exercise and train your core consistently.

Most adults spend a good amount of time working at a desk, texting or looking

at a screen. This can have the largest impact on your posture and the

best thing you can do to is exercise. By exercise, I mean

resistance training. When you lift weights, especially heavy weights, you’re

forced to use solid posture because if not you will get injured. Deadlifts are a

perfect example as well as many other compound exercises like front

squats. So, exercise consistently and really try and keep a straight back when

you’re sitting down. I would also take breaks and stand up

and stretch. Don’t let yourself sit too long without taking a break.
