7 Reasons Seed Oils Are Destroying Your Health & How You Can Avoid Them

What are seed oils? 

Seed oils are a vegetable oil and it comes from the seeds of plants. Here are the 8 industrial seed oils damaging your health. 

- Canola oil

- Soybean oil

- Corn oil

- Sunflower oil

- Cottonseed oil

- Safflower oil

- Grapeseed oil

- Rice bran oil

And here are the 7 damaging effects. 

1) Seed oils contain high amounts of omega 6’s which are linked to chronic diseases like cancer, heart diseases, obesity and diabetes

2) Seed oils are highly processed

3) Seed oils cause oxidative stress in the body

4) Seed oils contain trans-fats

5) Seed oil crops are frequently genetically modified

The main problem I see: Higher consumption of omega-6 from industrial seed oils has caused a rise in chronic diseases and illnesses.

- Ask your water to cook your food in butter or olive oil instead of vegetable oils

- Choose grilled or steamed options

- Avoid friend foods

- Ask for salad dressing on the side (salad dressing contains seed oils)

- When in doubt, ask if vegetable oils are used to cook certain foods where you’re eating.
