30 life lessons from the previous 30 years

I just turned 30

Here are 30 life lessons I wish I knew earlier.

1. Your network is your net worth. Hang out with people that push and make you better.

2. Get in the habit of going to the gym 5-7X per week.

3. Cut out alcohol. It's poison and will hold you back from reaching your potential!

4. Make time for good friends and family. You never know when will be the last time you see them.

5. Read every single day. The benefits and knowledge you accumulate will compound.

6. Learn how to cook before you outsource or use a meal service. 

7. Do your best every single day. Leave nothing on the table.

8. You're a spec of dust in the galaxy. The problems you're facing aren't that big of a deal.

9. Stop taking life so seriously. Learn to enjoy the moment.

10. Put in the effort to meet new people every single week. Don't be the person that just sticks with the same people. 

11. When you choose to get better it will get lonely. Embrace the lonely chapter.

12. Travel frequently and travel often.

13. Build financial discipline. Get in the habit of saving and learn how to invest. Life is brutal for poor men. 

14. The only way to defeat fear is by confronting fear head on. Also, the best way to build confidence.

15. Video games are a waste of time. Quit video games as soon as you can.

16. Porn is poison for the brain. Get rid of it before it becomes an issue.

17. If you see a cute girl go up to her. Don't pussy out. 

18. Cut off people if they don't make you better, are energy vampires or are toxic in any way.

19. Never talk down to yourself. You need to become your own biggest cheerleader.

20. Get comfortable with public speaking and leading the room.

21. As a man you need to become strong. Being weak is not acceptable. Become an asset not a liability.

22. If needed, go out by yourself. Especially if you're in a new city. Learn to put yourself out there.

23. Try to do something that scares you every single day.

24. Never take your health for granted. Without it nothing else in life matters. 

25. Get in the habit of stretching. Will prevent injury and help keep you mobile.

26. Your habits determine your future. Focus on building good habits daily! 

27. Vaping is insanely addictive. Your better off not even trying it. 

28. Weed makes you slow and complacent. Avoid it.

29. Criticism and hate are a sign that you're heading in the right direction. Only those below you will hate on you!

30. The gym is the best coping mechanism in the world. Go to the gym especially if you're feeling sad, frustrated, angry or depressed!

We’re already a quarter into the new year. I hope you all are crushing the year and doing what’s needed to get after your goals!
